Why is ICT important?

Why is ICT important?

Contemporary research has shown that ICT can lead to improved student learning and better teaching methods. A report made by the National Institute of Multimedia Education in Japan, acknowledged that an increase in student exposure to educational ICT through curriculum integration has a significant and positive impact on student achievement, especially in terms of “KnowledgeComprehension” · “Practical skill” and “Presentation skill” in subject areas such as mathematics, science, and social studies. Harvesting our Garden

Yesterday 1L had a gardening lesson with Mrs McCrum in the community garden. Amelia, Diesel, Callum, Beau and Miss Luke weeded our two garden boxes. The rest of the class carefully planted seeds in our class’s hothouse. We harvested some zucchinis and carrots from our garden so that we could make room for some new seedlings. Miss Luke took the zucchinis home and made some soup for the class. She used healthy, garden fresh produce such as potatoes, zucchini, leeks and carrots. Everyone in 1L tried a little cup of soup. Not everyone liked it but most of us did. We love having our garden to watch things grow and to learn about the cycles of life.
